Working with Paxus

- What about Public Liability & Professional Indemnity?
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance is mandatory when you commence a contract. If you have this insurance then you will need to bring a copy of your insurance certificate when you sign the contract; it is a legal responsibily of Paxus to ensure all contractors have this cover. If you don't have your own insurance, then you can be covered under the Paxus policy for a nominal 1% of your pay - this is deducted at time of payment.
- What should I expect and do on my first day?
Before you start your contract we will confirm with the client your start time, location and contact. We will then email or call you with this information.
- I am going on leave (or have been on sick leave), who do I need to notify?
Apart from letting the client know, you also need to advise your Paxus Account Manager so that we don’t expect a timesheet from you.

Contact your Paxus Account Manager and perhaps discuss the extension with your line or hiring manager. Paxus will usually begin discussions on a potential extension from 6 weeks before your contract is due to expire.
