Job description

Are you a skilled contract manager looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Look no further! We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and take on the exciting role of Contract Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage contract stakeholder expectations by understanding their needs and setting ICT contract stakeholder expectations for contract performance objectives.
  • Ensure compliance of ICT contract solutions with EPA technology policies, procedures, standards, and security practices.
  • Execute ICT contract management plans to achieve contract performance objectives and proactively manage variances.
  • Plan, direct, monitor, and report ICT contract management activities to ensure successful ICT contract delivery.
  • Manage risk and uncertainty to realize optimum ICT contract objectives.
  • Proactively communicate attainment and variances of ICT contract objectives to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships to identify and minimize risk and maximize value from contracts.
  • Prepare and lead negotiations for contract variations, renewals, and claims/disputes to deliver better procurement outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality contract management services to build overall effectiveness of the function.

Key Challenges:

  • Ensuring the highest levels of probity in developing and managing contracts given the significant value and public accountability requirements.
  • Proactively addressing commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks associated with contracts.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience in contract management.
  • Experience in commercial contracts, particularly ICT contract management in a wide geographic area.
  • Experience in managing and negotiating with commercial vendors.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing multiple ICT contracts and suppliers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of procurement policies and financial delegations.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
