Job description

  • 6 Month contract + high potential for extension
  • Day rate up to $1000 per day depending on provided experience
  • Hybrid Working Environment- WFH/Office

One of Australia's highly respected tertiary institutions are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering two key initiatives:

  • HR Transformation Project: Lead the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to streamline HR processes, manage employee data, and improve decision-making.
  • Cybersecurity Project: Oversee a range of projects to enhance security posture, including access management, data inventory, data loss prevention, and communication of security policies.

About You:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering end to end complex IT projects, particularly business applications, HCM or HRIS systems (PageUp is a plus), and cybersecurity projects.
  • Strong project management qualifications, such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP Certification, Agile Accreditation, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with change management methodologies like ADKAR.
  • Solid grasp of IT systems, SDLC, infrastructure, and relevant technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple projects concurrently, and deliver on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in tertiary sector is beneficial, not essential
