Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Asset Management Lead to lead the Plant Maintenance and Service Asset Management team for their S4 HANA EAM project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a team of technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant assets, while implementing and configuring the S4 HANA EAM system to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure effective maintenance and repair of plant assets, including equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the project team to implement and configure the S4 HANA EAM system, including data migration, integration, and testing.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular asset condition assessments and develop maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant assets.
- Work closely with the business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance and repair services.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain asset management databases and systems to track and report asset performance and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset management and maintenance.
Proven skills needed to secure this role:
- Strong knowledge of plant maintenance and asset management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with EAM systems, including S4 HANA, SAP, or other similar systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Proficiency in S4 HANA EAM system and its modules, such as Asset Management, Maintenance, and Repair.
