Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Batch Management Engineer to lead the transition of batch processing services from an external provider to internal operations. You will oversee the migration, optimize workflows, and ensure smooth integration of batch management systems like Autosys, Control-M, or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of batch services to in-house teams, ensuring a seamless migration.
- Manage and optimize batch job scheduling, execution, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Must be an Australian Citizen; security clearance is a plus.
- Experience with batch job scheduling tools and transitioning services in enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and optimization skills.
Preferred:
- Expertise in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and multi-platform environments (Linux, Windows, Unix).
