Job description
Our client, a Local Government entity, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst and a Junior Business Analyst for an 8-week contract, to support the process analysis and design efforts for a CRM (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc) implementation project.
The Senior role will leverage extensive CRM implementation experience to rapidly assess and document existing workflows, identify pain points, and define future-state processes aligned with organisational goals.
The Junior role will support the Senior Analyst in these tasks, providing valuable assistance and contributing to the project's success.
Promapp experience is highly preferred for both roles.
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles):
- Conduct rapid current-state process mapping to document existing workflows, pain points, and inefficiencies within a compressed timeframe.
- Design and define future-state processes, ensuring alignment with CRM capabilities and organisational goals.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are well-defined and documented for a successful project delivery.
- Perform gap analysis and define clear transition steps from current to future-state processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and operational efficiencies.
- Support change management and user adoption to facilitate a seamless transition.
- Ensure compliance with policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare process documentation, meeting minutes, and project reports to ensure project transparency.
Senior Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Provide expert insights and recommendations to support quick decision-making.
- Lead stakeholder discussions and drive consensus.
- Work autonomously and deliver high-quality outputs within 4-8 weeks.
Senior Business Analyst Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in fast-paced, intensive projects with strict deadlines.
- Extensive experience in CRM implementations, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess, document, and redesign business processes under tight time constraints.
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML, Visio) and experience in documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives, particularly within regulated environments.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments, ensuring quick turnaround of deliverable
Junior Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Business Analyst in all aspects of the project.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct research and analysis to support gap assessments
Junior Business Analyst Criteria:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in process mapping, business process reengineering, or CRM-related projects.
- Exposure to CRM implementations and an understanding of how digital solutions enhance business processes.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills, with experience in process mapping techniques (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior team members while managing multiple tasks.
- Understanding of digital transformation initiatives, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
