- Candidates must be Melbourne or Canberra based - Hybrid (3 days work from office)
- 12 months Contract with likely extensions
- Must have NV1 Security Clearance.
Work as a Cloud and Linux Engineer with a Global Consulting firm on one of their established Government sector projects.
Responsibilities and Skills Required include:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud architectures.
- Administer Azure PaaS services, such as App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates.
- Manage and version infrastructure deployments through source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
- Analyze system logs and monitor applications to identify and resolve issues.
- Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
