Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take the lead in solution design and set the standard for efficient delivery and provide mentorship and guidance to their peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver effective, high-quality technology solutions that empower teams and improve workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement across the SDLC through automation, tooling, and process enhancements.
  • Design practical, sustainable technology solutions to address team challenges and reduce dependencies.
  • Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality.
  • Document solutions clearly and share knowledge through mentoring, pair-programming, and community sessions.
  • Review tools, frameworks, and guidelines to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams, respond to their needs, and contribute to ceremonies like planning and solution design.

To be successful, much of the following must be highlighted in your CV

  • Over 6 years of software development experience, with exposure to diverse technology stacks, including .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
  • Proven track record in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles, with a solid grasp of both software development and operations principles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platform AWS
  • Practical knowledge of implementing and utilising monitoring and observability tools like AWS CloudWatch/CloudTrail, DataDog, or Splunk.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages, ideally C#, SQL, or PowerShell.
  • Proficient in utilising CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Octopus Deploy to streamline development workflows.
  • Expertise in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing configurations with tools like Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Well-versed in containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
