Your New Role: Executive Assistant
Location: Canberra, ACT
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive, while also offering coordination and business assistance to the broader team. This role will primarily support Executives based in Canberra and will involve close collaboration with the administrative team and the wider organization to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities include managing strategic diaries, coordinating meetings, handling team communications, engaging with stakeholders, preparing documents, facilitating information requests, and assisting with the onboarding of new team members. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement projects within the function, helping to develop systems and processes that enhance workflow and promote operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive experience providing high-level executive support to senior leaders in demanding, dynamic, and fast-paced environments, consistently demonstrating the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, adept at managing multiple tasks while prioritising effectively and pivoting quickly as situations evolve.
- Proven experience in developing and continuously improving systems and procedures to monitor and manage workflow, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and multiple Outlook accounts (Essential).
- A proactive and energetic approach, comfortable with ambiguity, and possessing a great sense of humour!
- Qualifications in Business Administration or Office Management (desirable) or extensive relevant experience.
