Job description
Our client is a large consultancy and they are currently looking for an experienced and skilled Full-Stack Cloud .NET Developers to join one of their end clients based in Brisbane. There is 2 days per week WFH on offer.
This role focuses on building cloud-native applications using .NET technologies, with responsibilities in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET, containerization in AWS, and CI/CD automation, and will be comfortable working in collaborative environments to deliver impactful cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-native software solutions using .NET technologies.
- Containerize .NET services in AWS to streamline deployment and enhance scalability.
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for efficient development and deployment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Apply AWS knowledge to optimize and improve cloud-based applications.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- .NET Development Expertise: Extensive experience with .NET and strong C# development skills.
- .NET Core: Proficient in .NET Core with hands-on experience.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Strong understanding of OOP principles.
- Reusable Libraries: Ability to write reusable libraries and components.
- Design and Architectural Patterns: Familiarity with various design patterns and architectural best practices.
- Concurrency Patterns: Knowledge of concurrency patterns in .NET.
- Version Control & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Git and experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Web Services: Hands-on experience with WCF and ReST.
- Containerization: Proven experience in containerizing .NET services in AWS.
- Framework Upgrades: Experience upgrading .NET Framework applications to .NET Core and .NET 6/8.
- Authentication Technologies: Good understanding of OpenID and OIDC technologies.
- AWS Knowledge: General knowledge of AWS services and cloud best practices.
