Paxus is seeking an HCM Implementation Specialist for our client in the community care and support sector.
In this 9-month contract, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation of HCM and provide expert guidance on payroll setup requirements and award interpretation. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major system transformation, ensuring alignment with payroll standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand payroll setup requirements and ensure they are accurately reflected in the system.
- Provide recommendations and expertise on payroll configuration, ensuring it meets business needs and complies with relevant awards.
- Support the decision-making process regarding payroll setup, configuration, and Award Interpretation.
- Work closely with the implementation team to align the payroll system setup with industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure accurate Award Interpretation during the system setup to avoid payroll discrepancies.
- Conduct testing and validation of the payroll system setup to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Assist in troubleshooting any payroll-related issues that arise during the implementation phase.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal payroll staff on the new system setup and Award Interpretation.
Key Requirements:
- Proven practical experience in payroll processing and system implementation.
- Strong understanding of Award Interpretation and its application in payroll systems.
- Experience with any payroll systems is essential.
- Ability to provide expert recommendations on payroll setup and configuration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and the implementation team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in system testing and validation.
- Ability to train and mentor internal staff on new payroll processes.
