Senior Business Analyst

Our client, a global mining company, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their growing team on an initial 6-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your 8-10 years of experience in a similar role to drive strategic initiatives.
• Apply your expertise in infrastructure projects to deliver impactful solutions.
• Utilize your commissioning experience to ensure smooth transitions and optimal performance.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of BABOK and its application in business analysis.
• Employ your process mapping skills to optimize workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize your analytical mindset and attention to detail to uncover insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating requirements and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop tactical plans to enhance growth and profitability.
• Leverage your industry experience in Utilities, Construction, or Electrical sectors to bring valuable insights to the role.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business analysis within infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of BABOK and its practical application.
• Proficiency in process mapping and analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to site as required.
