THE ROLE
As a Test Analyst you will be responsible for evaluating data quality and integrity within software applications and databases. This role involves designing and executing test cases to validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, as well as identifying discrepancies and anomalies. You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure that data processes meet specified requirements and business needs. Proficiency in Testing methodologies, tools, and best practices is essential, along with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to support data-driven decision-making.
DESIRED SKILLS
Data Quality Assurance: Understanding of data quality principles and best practices for validating data accuracy and integrity
SQL Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL for querying databases, validating data, and performing data analysis
Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with Testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify data discrepancies and trends.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for identifying subtle data issues.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
