AI Specialist

Our client is a large IT services company looking for AI specialist with experience in OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, or custom NLP models


We are seeking an experienced AI Specialist to provide expert guidance in optimizing the configuration of AI product that our client is running for Microsoft. This consulting engagement requires deep expertise in AI model tuning, NLP, LLMs (Large Language Models), and AI infrastructure to enhance the effectiveness and performance of the AI tutor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify gaps, and provide optimization recommendations.
• Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, or custom NLP models) for enhanced tutoring interactions.
• Improve AI response accuracy, personalization, and contextual relevance for learners.
• Optimize model deployment and performance on Azure AI infrastructure.
• Provide strategic insights on prompt engineering, knowledge base integration, and adaptive learning techniques.
• Assist in configuring AI governance, ethics, and responsible AI practices to align with Microsoft's standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, provide documentation, and deliver recommendations for future scalability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or Conversational AI development.
• Hands-on expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, and NLP frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain).
• Strong experience with Microsoft AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services and solutions
• Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in fine-tuning AI models for adaptive learning and education-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a short-term advisory role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on AI education tools, tutoring systems, or chatbot-based learning.
• Familiarity with Microsoft AI principles, Copilot, and Responsible AI frameworks.
• Experience in integrating AI with LMS (Learning Management Systems) or e-learning platforms.
