Job description

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in defining, documenting, and translating business needs into functional requirements. You'll collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Application Owners, and IT stakeholders to develop future-state process designs that drive efficiency and innovation.

You'll also be key in shaping functional specifications and ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose-helping teams deliver with clarity, confidence, and impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead business analysis planning and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
  • Map and optimise current state and future state business processes (As-Is / To-Be)
  • Manage and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop functional specifications, including interface and configuration requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure business needs are met
  • Support communication, documentation, and resolution of business issues
  • Contribute to team success through planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business analysis within complex ICT environments
  • Strong capability in requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and process documentation
  • Skilled in producing high-quality business and functional specifications
  • Confident working across multiple stakeholders including project teams, business units, and vendors
  • Experienced in both private and/or public sector environments (highly desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to collaborative project delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
