ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - RESOURCES AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Are you a driven and experienced Electrical Engineer looking to join a high-performing team within a major service provider supporting clients in the resources and infrastructure sector? We're currently seeking a skilled professional to deliver innovative engineering solutions across a variety of projects.
What's on Offer:
- Office-based role in Belmont WA, with flexibility to work from home depending on project needs
- Occasional site travel within WA (1-2 weeks at a time, project-dependent)
- 37.5-hour work week (7.5 hours per day)
- Initial 6-month engagement with the potential to extend to 12 months
- Competitive daily/hourly rates based on experience
- Work alongside industry experts in a collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and manage electrical systems for various projects
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations
- Deliver feasibility studies, risk assessments and technical evaluations
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, drawings and markups
- Collaborate with engineers, clients and stakeholders across disciplines
- Manage budgets, timelines and project deliverables
- Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning where required
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical expertise
About You:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience
- Familiarity with the resources sector is desirable
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and codes
- Intermediate to advanced skills in design tools (e.g. ETAP, CablePro)
- Proficient in electrical design for PLC and instrumentation
- Solid Microsoft 365 and documentation skills
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities
