DATA TRANSFORMATION SPECIALIST
Our QLD Government client is currently seeking a Data Transformation Specialist to support its enterprise-wide data initiatives. This is a key role focused on building and maintaining scalable data solutions that drive decision-making and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor and maintain robust data transformation pipelines between systems.
- Create and support data models, dashboards and reports to meet varied business requirements.
- Apply data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support data usage and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and advise on new technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in data transformation, ETL development or data integration.
Expertise in:
- Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS)
- T-SQL scripting
- Power BI and Tableau
- Data modelling and transformation techniques
- Proven understanding of AGILE methodologies and data governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
Experience with WhereScape, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake platforms.
