Job description

Our federal Government client is seeking an Identity Management Systems Analyst to join their Canberra team. This is a 12 month contract with 2x12 months extension option. This role is open to Australian citizens with an active NV1 Security Clearance.

  • 12 month contract with 2x12 month extension option.
  • Canberra based candidates with an NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Hybrid role ( 3 days from office and 2 days WFH).
  • Paxus pays weekly.

As a systems analyst you will design, create, evaluate and document ICT solutions in new and existing ICT systems. They may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentations or user stories.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and define requirements for new solutions or enhancements to existing systems.
  • This involves understanding business needs and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • This is essential for ongoing support and future enhancements. Identify any gaps in current documentation and work with stakeholders to develop suitable procedure statements and user guides.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of IT solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancements to support evolving business needs.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Sound technical knowledge and experience performing detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements.
  • The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects.Experience performing detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements.

  • Experience creating and maintaining solution and process documents.
