Our client is seeking a network arcitect to join their team. You will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining our corporate network infrastructure platforms. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge and experience to guide stakeholders and ensure the stability and cost-effectiveness of our network solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and develop technical solutions for data communication network services, including both on-premise and cloud-based components.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to ensure clear communication and future reference.
- Produce technical solution designs, network service designs, and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Analyse network capacity and proactively plan for future needs.
- Authorise technical guides and standards documents.
- Develop and implement change plans for network configurations and system integration.
- Evaluate and integrate new network platforms, technologies, and products.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design, deliver, and support complex network projects.
- Provide expert technical support and analysis for high-impact business or technical issues.
To be successful, much of the following must be highlighted in your CV:
- Proven experience designing large enterprise network systems.
- A strong understanding of network design principles, including LAN, WAN, and data centre network integration.
- Solid knowledge of Software Defined Networks (SDN) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- In-depth expertise in router and switch hardware/software, with experience in specific Cisco technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with load balancing, Cisco technologies (Nexus, catalyst, ACI, Wireless Access Points, Controller Modules)
