Specialist - Network Engineer
Location: Adelaide, SA (FIFO, Residential options available)
Contract: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)
Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off

Are you a skilled Network & Technology Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced mining environment? We are seeking a forward-thinking professional to join our team as a Network Engineer, supporting Site Operation, Maintenance, and Technology Teams.
This role offers the chance to work autonomously while also being part of a highly collaborative team, contributing to critical technology maintenance and infrastructure projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Maintain and support critical Technology Equipment and Networks, ensuring seamless operations
✔️ Troubleshoot and resolve network and communication system issues, minimizing disruptions
✔️ Provide subject matter expertise to support teams in resolving priority technical challenges
✔️ Foster strong working relationships with operations and support functions
✔️ Assist with the training and upskilling of site personnel
✔️ Identify and implement initiatives to enhance network reliability and performance
✔️ Ensure compliance and best practices
What We're Looking For:
🔹 Strong background in Networking & IT Infrastructure (Industrial experience is a plus!)
🔹 Hands-on experience with wireless & wired networks, including Cisco & Cambium hardware
🔹 Experience in data center/server management & cloud technologies (AWS/Azure desirable)
🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently & within a team
🔹 Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workloads effectively
🔹 Ability to translate business needs into scalable & secure infrastructure solutions
🔹 Experience with testing, deploying, and commissioning technology infrastructure
