Job Overview:
We are looking for two skilled NonStop Platform Analyst resources to support project and BAU operations for a Melbourne based client.
Job Description / Skills & Experience required
Key areas of focus are: Quality, Knowledge management, Performance/capacity reporting and Platform governance including risk, audit and compliance functions.
This role is accountable for:
- Provide production support 24x7 on an on-call basis.
- Enhancement / work requests to upgrade current platform.
- Internal initiatives such as technology lifecycle management and working closely with the stakeholders. The candidate would need to collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure the stability of the production NonStop environment.
- Cost optimisation and chargeback reporting.
Required knowledge, skill and experience for the role are:
- Understanding of business & technical landscape
- Knowledge of business functions, and the technical systems / applications that support these business functions
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to apply critical thinking
- Define requirements and measure success through the eyes of the customer
- Ability to prioritise and respond to production incidents following appropriate procedures
- Communication and facilitation skills
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate business analysis outcomes
- Ability to contribute to workshops with stakeholder groups
- Able to build strong and influential stakeholder relationships
- Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues, whether technical or in relation to resourcing, in a professional and effective manner.

- Identify improvements in current processes
- Use initiative, be proactive and take appropriate action and show persistence in addressing and resolving issues.
- Experience in managing critical enterprise class infrastructure preferably HPE NonStop based
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Experience in defining, implementing and management regime in accordance with polices.
Additional preferred knowledge, skills and experiences:
- NonStop Technical:
- Understanding of NonStop and Operating System Environments including:
- Tandem Advanced Command Language (TACL)
- Job Scheduling Products (NetBatch)
- Subsystem Control Facility (SCF)
- TACL or TAL or Cobol Programming Language
- Microsoft Office products
- Understand and resolve complex interdependencies
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and vendors
- Experience in ITIL processes
- Managing vendors
- Finance industry experience
- Experience of interaction with various internal/external auditors
- Experience in HPE NonStop technologies
- Experience with NonStop hosted third-party applications
- Have worked within the payments industry (preferred)
