Job description
Seeking an attentive Personal Security Vetting Officer to undertake security clearance processes, complex clearance cases, quality assurance and provide advice on clearance outcomes.
- 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options
- NV1 Security Clearance Mandatory
- Cert IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) Mandatory
- Central Canberra location
Duties:
- Process security clearances
- Provide high quality sound advice regarding clearance outcomes
- Assess and manage complex vetting clearances, including the ability to prepare denial documentation to a high standard;
- Provide Quality Assurance on files, assessing for activity and outcomes which align to standard operating procedures and the PSPF,
- Work to tight deadlines and appropriately manage heavy workloads;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, proficient written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of clearance subjects from diverse backgrounds;
Qualifications
- Cert IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) Mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years vetting experience is desirable.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a NV1 Security Clearance
