Job description

Role: Ping Developers (IAM Solutions)
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 12 months

Description:

We are looking for skilled Ping Developers to help design, develop, and implement advanced IAM solutions using Ping Federate, Ping Authorise, and other Ping Identity tools. You will play a key role in architecting authentication and authorisation processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect authentication and authorisation processes using Ping Federate and Ping Authorise.
  • Implement fine-grained access control policies using Ping Authorise.
  • Integrate Ping Federate with various systems for Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation.
  • Develop Java-based components to enhance Ping Identity solutions.
  • Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility in IAM systems.
  • Create and manage authorisation policies with Ping Authorise's intuitive drag-and-drop UI.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through centralised policy enforcement.
  • Integrate Ping Identity tools with both cloud and on-premises applications using Java and microservices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Ping Federate and Ping Authorise deployments.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of Ping Identity solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Ping Identity processes and procedures.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Ping Federate, Ping Authorise, and other Ping Identity tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and other identity management systems.
  • Strong Java programming skills with experience in scalable applications.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and its application in IAM solutions.
  • Familiarity with containerisation tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • 3+ years of experience with Ping Federate and Ping Authorise.
  • Strong experience with Java development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Okta or similar IAM platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to authentication and authorisation protocols.
