Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Qilk Sense Administrator to join their Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne team. This is a 12 month contract with another 2x12 month extension option. The role is open for Australian citizens with the an active NV1 security clearance.

- Open for multiple locations such as ACT, QLD, & VIC

As the Qlik Sense Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the Departments Qlik Sense platform within a Windows Server environment.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows servers.
- Configure Qlik Sense services (Qlik Sense Engine, Qlik Sense Proxy, Qlik Sense Repository)
- Manage and configure Qlik Sense certificates and security settings.
- Configure and manage Qlik Sense licensing.
- Monitor server performance, resource utilisation, and system health.
- Perform regular server maintenance, including patching and updates.
- Troubleshoot server issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage server backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage storage related to Qlik sense.
- Manage user access and permissions within Qlik Sense.
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Configure and manage authentication and authorisation methods (e.g., Active Directory integration)
- Audit user activity and security logs.
- Deploy and manage Qlik Sense applications.
- Monitor application performance and data refresh schedules.
- Provide support to developers and end-users regarding application issues.
- Manage Qlik Sense extensions.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Qlik Sense Administrator or similar role.
- Experience with Windows Server administration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
