We are working with a prominent local government entity in Western Australia to recruit an experienced Salesforce Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development and support of the Salesforce Platform and integrations with critical applications such as TechnologyOne ERP.
You will play a critical role in providing expert support and guidance to business units, ensuring users are confident and effective in utilizing the systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements, as well as explore new technology solutions to drive business success.
This is a fixed-term contract with a high potential for conversion into a permanent position, offering great long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to other Salesforce developers within the team.
- Design, extract, and report on complex datasets using SOQL, SOSL, SQL, and relational data structures.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on data architecture and strategy.
- Lead process reviews and provide systems administration and support for complex business systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote enhancements and the adoption of new technologies.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Position Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Salesforce Expertise: 3-5 years of Salesforce platform development and support experience, with a strong understanding of Service Cloud and Communities.
- Development Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Experience, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Integration Experience: Experience with integrations, particularly using Event-Driven architectures.
- Declarative Tools: Proficiency with Salesforce tools like Workflows, Process Builders, and Flows.
- Data Management: Experience in designing, extracting, and reporting on complex datasets using SOQL, SOSL, SQL, and relational data structures.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to present complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Salesforce Certifications: Relevant certifications in Administration, Architecture, and Development.
- Web Development: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with Salesforce Agents and Einstein for Service is highly regarded.
