Job description
Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their team. This is a fixed term 12 months with the view of becoming permanent. This role is open to Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline clearance.
- 12 months fixed term with the view of becoming permanent (Paid Annual and Paid Sick Leave)
- Annual Salary ranges from $95,714 to $135,935 + 15.4 % super
- Open to Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline clearance
- Open to multiple locations such as Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney
As the scrum Master you will:
- Manage all Agile aspects of the assigned work area
- Lead and coordinate critical Agile workshops/ceremonies to enable the success of the project
- Facilitate the removal of blockers to the team's success
- Help the team continually improve its Ways of Working to better achieve objectives and team satisfaction
- In more complex initiatives, facilitate the design and implementation of Ways of Working to scale Agile delivery across multiple teams and initiatives
- Foster collaborative working relationships, including clients and peers
To be considered for this role you must:
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master within an enterprise context
- Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders and nurture positive working relationships
- Well-developed communication and influencing skills
- Qualifications in relevant Agile discipline
- Ability to coach and mentor others in Agile practices
- Experience in JIRA and JIRA Portfolio is desirable
- A background in relevant ICT disciplines (business analysis, development, release management, etc) is desirable.
- Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in complex enterprise projects
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing scaled Agile practices.
