Your New Organisation:
Join an esteemed Federal Government Agency as their Senior Financial Analyst, contributing to the end-to-end financial support for a portfolio of divisional stakeholders supporting and guiding the decision making processes and adding valuable insights across the wider business. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to drive controlled and disciplined commercial focus the transparency and insight you provide to your stakeholders on all aspects of spending and investment will be key to success in this role.

Your New Role and Key Responsibilities:
Strategic financial and commercial support & advice - The role will be accountable for the provision of financial analysis, insights and recommendations across the full range of CFO activities to senior leaders across the business.
Strategy and Solutions - Support the research, design, development and provision of financial and commercial change initiatives aligned to the business strategy. Pivotal with the implementation of organisation wide CFPO initiatives you will ensure the effective coordination and engagement of relevant financial and commercial expertise.
Coaching and Capability Development - A comprehensive opportunity to develop and implement processes that enhance the commercial and financial acumen of the business, while also focusing on the growth and development of your immediate team.
Qualifications and skills:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance or other business-related field.
- Extensive experience in providing sound financial and commercial analysis and advice in a commercial or financial management role across a full range of strategic business matters in a complex geographically and professionally diverse organization.
- A demonstrated ability to make commercially sound decisions with limited information in dynamic situations, leveraging insights to guide the decision-making process.
- Proven experience in successfully coaching and developing leadership capability in the application of commercial accountabilities.
- Project management, planning and change management skills
- Business acumen, with a strong understanding of risk management.
