Job description
Our client, a leader in the resources industry, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract with opportunity for renewal.
You will be the linchpin between our business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient integrated solutions. You will leverage your expertise to gather, analyse, and document detailed requirements, facilitating smooth transitions and minimising operational disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Mastery:
- Engage with functional stakeholders to solidify and document final integration requirements.
- Develop detailed data mapping for each integration stage.
- Define and document business rules and logic for middleware.
- Provide comprehensive support to integration teams (e.g., SAP, Workato, Aspect, GLX).
- Process Optimisation:
- Create detailed process maps for solution design and high-level maps for business process owner (BPO) approval.
- Identify and document opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop error scenario process flows, requirements, and workflows.
- Requirements & Solution Design:
- Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements to support solution design.
- Provide expert support in solutioning and addressing vendor queries.
- Change Management & Training:
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments to understand and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, guides, cheat sheets, and FAQs.
- Provide hands-on go-live user support.
- Testing & Validation:
- Contribute to the project test approach and plan.
- Provide test materials and data as required.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.
- Support UAT and Production Verification Testing (PVT).
- Transition & Support:
- Assist in the development of transition to operations, support, and maintenance plans.
- Provide ongoing support to key business resources, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Documentation & Governance:
- Create and maintain digital documentation in alignment with digital governance standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, with a strong focus on system integrations.
- Proficiency in creating process maps and data mappings.
- Strong understanding of integration technologies and middleware.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and experience with UAT.
