Job description

Our client, a global consultancy, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join them on a 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of extensions. They are open to candidates based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Canberra, offering a hybrid working model.

You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring accurate translation to technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications, use cases and user stories to provide clear guidance for development.
  • Produce and maintain process maps, data flow diagrams and project documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis of business processes and technology to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with technical writing, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements analysis and elicitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and an understanding of .Net code.
  • Experience with SQL or data visualisation tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to software development processes and related technical documentation practices.
  • Robust analytical skills with a solid foundation in data analysis and reporting methodologies.
  • Proficiency in utilising various business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Baseline security clearance or currently in the process of obtaining one.
