For our global client, we are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Apigee, specifically Apigee X, and will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of APIs and API proxies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and reliable API solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, and deploy API proxies using Apigee X (nice to have) to meet the needs of internal and external clients.
- Implement API security protocols, including OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
- Optimize and maintain existing APIs to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to define API requirements and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and provide support during the lifecycle of the APIs.
- Implement traffic management policies including quotas, rate limits, and spike arrest.
- Develop and manage API documentation and guides for internal teams and external clients
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
