Job description
Our client is a large SA Government department who are currently looking for an Appian Developer to join them on an initial 6 month contract with extensions on offer. This role will be based in Adelaide CBD with flexible WFH options.
This role will work on a new project development on the Appian platform and additionally may need to support existing applications.
Responsibilities
- Translate user stories into required functionality using the Appian platform.
- Design, implement, enhance, and support Appian applications.
- Guide Appian developers ensuring best practices are followed.
- Participate peer reviews to ensure quality and knowledge transfer.
- Prepare and maintain thorough system and application documentation.
- Analyse and fix production defects.
Skills
- Strong experience with Appian BPM platform.
- MySQL or similar relational database.
- Skill for writing reusable common objects.
- Strong experience in Agile software development
- Working with JIRA and Kanban boards.
- Strong experience in working with Business Analysts and Key Stakeholders.
- Appian certification would be highly regarded.
- Experience with other programming knowledge (.Net, C#, Java or any OOP) would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/MS Azure) would be advantages
