Boomi Integration Consultant

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced BOOMI Integration Consultant to join their team. This is a 3-4 months contact.

As a experienced Boomi Integration Consultant you will undertake a short-term Proof of Concept (PoC) engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Boomi technology to evaluate the potential benefits. This project will focus on validating integration approaches, exploring different use cases, and ensuring technical feasibility before scaling to a broader implementation.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope and objectives for the PoC, including system requirements and expected outcomes.
• Design and implement integration processes using Boomi, focusing on connecting various on-premise and cloud applications.
• Develop integration flows to streamline business processes, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the integration solutions during the PoC phase.
• Create documentation of the integration architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Deliver PoC results and provide recommendations for full-scale integration based on outcomes and performance.
• Work closely with Icon Water teams to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements.
• Provide guidance and best practices related to Boomi integration and ensure that industry standards are met.
• Present regular status updates and a final report summarizing PoC findings and recommendations.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Boomi certifications (e.g., Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Flow) are a plus.
• Previous experience working on PoC engagements or short-term projects or full-scale implementations.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (e.g. Oracle, Dynamics 365 etc).
• Familiarity with API Integrations, File-based Integrations etc.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
• Proven experience as a Boomi Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing integration solutions using Boomi.
• In-depth knowledge of Boomi Integration Platform (Boomi) and hands-on experience with its tools such as Boomi AtomSphere, Process Manager, and Integration components.
• Experience with both cloud-based and on-premise applications and how to connect them through Boomi.
• Strong understanding of API management, web services (REST/SOAP), and data formats such as JSON, XML, and EDI.
• Solid understanding of integration best practices and security standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Technical awareness of enterprise technology trends & solutions.
• Experience of working in Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a short-term, results-driven project.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• At least 5+ years of experience in Boomi as an Integration consultant in a senior role.
