re you an experienced Business Analyst ready to take your skills to the next level? This is your chance to take on a pivotal role in driving A key government department forward, located in the NT. As the Senior Business Analyst, you'll be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, from requirements planning and management, to elicitation and documentation, process analysis and change assessment, and product validation testing. In addition, you may also have the opportunity to support deployment, migration, training, and stakeholder validation activities. You will collaborate closely with the business, Project Manager, Director, or Lead Analyst, and even vendors as needed, you'll play a vital role in executing the project approach and plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dynamic workshops, interviews, and focus groups with stakeholders to extract crucial business and functional requirements, while efficiently managing agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Create precise and comprehensive specifications to configure and build cutting-edge solutions that meet identified requirements.
- Lead engaging walkthroughs to validate and obtain approval for business analysis outputs, ensuring seamless alignment with requirements and training materials.
- Provide expert business analysis support throughout the entire project life cycle, from inception to implementation, offering valuable insights and clarifications as needed.
- Develop innovative Future State System Workflows (BPMN2.0) and UML Use Cases to streamline processes and drive optimal project outcomes.
- Utilize advanced business analysis techniques and tools to document requirements, objectives, outcomes, and workflows across project phases, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Drive efficient testing activities, including meticulous test plan preparation and execution, to ensure robust solution performance.
- Document and track stream-specific defects, effectively addressing issues raised during the testing process for seamless resolution.
- Play a pivotal role in data collection and validation activities, ensuring smooth deployment of user provisioning, code table content, and training materials.
- Provide critical support for deployment and cutover activities as required, ensuring a seamless transition to the new solution.
- Deliver project documentation with precision, adhering to EPS project management frameworks and meeting timelines and quality standards agreed with the Project Manager.
- Uphold confidentiality and information management policies, expertly managing sensitive information and maintaining accurate records.
About You:
- Extensive expertise as a Business Analyst, driving success in requirements gathering, process analysis/modelling, and system integration in complex business environments.
- Proven track record in mapping business requirements to product functionality, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong ability to manage information requirements in compliance with record keeping and information management policies, ensuring traceability of business requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Highly effective in client liaison, change management, and facilitation, with a collaborative approach in fast-paced, high-priority environments.
- Successful experience in end-to-end delivery of major business systems projects.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Visio and other office tools, with proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint or ability to quickly acquire.
- Skilled in identifying and analyzing complex legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to the relevant industry/work environment and their impact on processes.
Desirebale:
- Experience in business process model and notation (BPMN) 2.0 standard or similar, and development of UML Use Cases.
- Experience working in a Government environment.
- Health experience is favourable
