Job description
Are you a Cisco Wireless Engineer with expertise in designing and managing wireless networks in a Cisco environment? Our client is looking for a skilled professional with strong hands-on experience in Cisco switches, routers, wireless controllers, and IP network management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement wireless networks in a Cisco environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work with Cisco wireless controllers and Wi-Fi solutions to configure, manage, and troubleshoot networks.
- Perform low-level and high-level design (LLD & HLD) for wireless infrastructure.
- Work with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation and assurance.
- Analyze and translate site surveys into effective wireless network designs.
- Manage IP networks, including IP address management and wireless controller configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
- Proven experience in wireless network design in a Cisco environment.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wi-Fi solutions and DNAC.
- Expertise in Cisco Wi-Fi solutions and best practices.
- Understanding of IP networking and IP address management.
- Ability to translate site surveys into actionable network designs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with SD-WAN.
- Familiarity with Cisco IP Wi-Fi.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies & Jira.
