Are you an experienced Cyber Security and/or Solution Architect looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide security and solution architecture, design, and assurance services to ensure valued and fit-for-purpose solutions are implemented while managing ICT risks.
THE ROLE
In this role, you will work across multiple architectural domains, including information security, application, and technology, to develop and assure solution architecture artefacts. You will engage with key stakeholders, provide strategic technical advice, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across information security, application, and technology domains.
- Develop and assure solution architecture artefacts, including conceptual and logical solution designs, data integration, and information models.
- Review and develop project and technical documentation such as control options papers, technical specifications, designs, test and implementation plans.
- Conduct pre-project planning, including initiative assessments and requirements analysis.
- Undertake options analysis and contribute to business cases.
- Ensure alignment with Queensland Government and the Departments Enterprise Architecture strategies, roadmaps, principles, and standards.
- Provide strategic advice on technical directions and industry trends.
- Offer recommendations on security best practices and industry-recognised standards and frameworks.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Program and Project Managers, Business Systems Analysts, and technical SMEs.
- Support Project Managers in risk identification, issue resolution, priority setting, and progress reporting.
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of relevant architecture and/or cyber security experience, including experience in principal/lead roles for security projects and operations.
- 5+ years of proven experience in implementing technology/security roadmaps in large and complex organisations.
- Relevant security architecture and/or operations experience within large organisations such as QLD Government.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of architecture and security best practices, including ISO 27001, IS18, NIST CSF, and TOGAF
