Our QLD Government client is currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Business Analyst specialising in Operational Technology (OT) to join their team. Initial 6 month Contract + Extension plus WFH Flex and Market Rates on Offer !
THE ROLE
As the Cybersecuirty Business Analyst you will focus on evaluating, analysing, and enhancing cybersecurity practices specific to the OT environments, ensuring that the practices align with industry standards and organisational objectives. As As the ideal candidate you will have a strong ability to document business processes efficiently, and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Technology Cybersecurity Assessment and Analysis
- Gap Analysis and Recommendations
- Policy and Procedure Development
- Future State Definition and Project Scoping
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Documentation and Reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on OT/industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience in cybersecurity practices for OT environments
REQUIRED
- CISSP, CISM, ISA/IEC 62443, or similar cybersecurity certifications preferred
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards relevant to OT (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST 800-82)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across diverse teams
