About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance modelling and simulation activities. You will provide DevOps services to develop unified processes, manage the software development life cycle, and ensure ongoing quality assurance and control, ensuring our software is fit for purpose.

Skills and Experience

Highly Desirable Criteria:

  • Proficiency in C++ development, including knowledge of application build processes (linking, static libraries, dynamic libraries)
  • Experience with C++ build systems (CMake highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with C++ package management (Conan highly desirable)
  • Expertise in pipeline automation (Bamboo, Travis CI, Circle CI, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Artifactory, etc.), with a focus on CI/CD
  • Proven experience with git and git workflows
  • Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.), including building container images
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.), including building container clusters
  • Knowledge of frontend web technologies (JavaScript, React desirable)
  • Experience in designing REST APIs
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux development environments
  • Experience with modelling and simulation software

Eligibility Criteria

Due to the nature of the role, Australian citizenship is required. Candidates with higher security clearance are preferred.
