About the role

We are seeking experienced Cyber Security Engineers specialising in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and security design and implementation across various platforms.

We have three core priorities: building best-in-class people to support department's efforts, underpinned by best-in-class global platforms, supported by best-in-class sovereign capabilities.

These roles will be part of larger project teams to develop solutions and deliver capability. These are new roles in a growing Branch, and you will be instrumental in helping to build both human and technical capabilities to achieve the department's mission.

About the team

You will be part of a team of ICT professionals delivering complex projects. You will provide technical expertise, mentorship and coaching in a matrixed construct, as teams and individuals are embedded into projects as needed.

  • Lead a team of ICT professionals experienced in key technology platforms/products, or
  • Work individually on projects as the technical engineering SME.

Skills and experience

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Oracle IAM, SAP Identity Management (IDM);
  • Experience in designing security solutions involving Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and threat management;
  • Ability to integrate identity and access management solutions with enterprise systems and cloud services for consistent management across all platforms;
  • Experience with design and deployment of Zero Trust Architecture for identity and credentials management, ensuring a security model that eliminates implicit trust and continuously verifies users and devices is desirable;
  • Experience in ensuring secure access, identity governance, and protection against security threats while implementing advanced security measures to safeguard organisational assets.
  • We want you to be someone who is going to keep learning, career focussed, and brings resilience to situations where requirements are shifting and changing with needs.
