Salary: $100K - $120K + Super (Depending on experience)
On-site Requirement: 5 days per week in the office
About the Role
A growing company in the building materials sector is seeking an experienced IT Systems & App Developer with expertise in Smartsheet OR AppSheet to improve business operations and customer-facing systems.
This is a hands-on role focused on workflow automation, API integrations, and improving internal IT solutions. The role reports directly to the Director and requires someone who can understand business processes and provide IT solutions to enhance efficiency.
The position also involves coordinating work with a team of three offshore developers based in the Philippines, ensuring project priorities align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Smartsheet OR AppSheet applications for internal teams, customers, and delivery drivers.
- Act as the primary IT contact for business workflow improvements and system enhancements.
- Coordinate with a team of three offshore developers to align project priorities and deliverables.
- Work closely with leadership to understand business workflows and recommend IT solutions.
- Handle API integrations and ensure smooth connectivity between business systems.
- Implement and maintain integrations with Twilio (or similar communication platforms) and Zapier for process automation.
- Provide general IT support and identify areas for automation and process improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet OR AppSheet (essential).
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Twilio (or similar communication platforms) and Zapier.
- General IT knowledge and the ability to translate business needs into practical IT solutions.
- Experience coordinating offshore development teams and ensuring project alignment.
- Ability to work on-site in Parramatta, five days per week (essential).
- No coding required, but must be proficient in system configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
