Network Solution Architect

Join a market leading organisation as a Network Architect within our clients expanding team. This role will be offered on an initial 3 month contract basis, with the potential to transition to permanency.

Our client is seeking a seasoned Network Solution Architect to shape the future of telecommunications architecture, aligning technology strategies with business transformation goals. This role is pivotal in enabling the transition into a technology-enabled, digital-first organisaiton.

About the Role

As the Telecommunication Solution Architect, you will:

• Design, plan, and maintain telecommunication architecture and roadmaps to align with strategic business objectives.
• Lead the creation of blueprints and governance frameworks for telecommunications architecture, ensuring they drive innovation and align with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical leadership, advising internal and external stakeholders on telecommunications strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to map requirements to capabilities and define technical solutions that meet organizational goals.
• Oversee the development and implementation of solutions across cloud, SaaS technologies, infrastructure, and applications.
• Drive the adoption of modern telecommunications practices, enabling seamless integration across various platforms and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic telecommunications blueprints, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
• Partner with program managers and architects to design and deliver technology solutions.
• Provide guidance on network design, risk management, and performance optimization.
• Implement technical strategies and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Influence decision-making by delivering innovative solutions that meet business objectives.

Experience and Skills

We are looking for a specialized professional with:

• Substantial experience in telecommunications architecture, strategy, and roadmap design.
• Proven expertise in managing complex technical projects and programs in large enterprises.
• Advanced knowledge of data communications technologies, including SDN, WAN/LAN, cloud connectivity, SDWAN, network security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of innovation.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• A deep understanding of ICT architecture, systems engineering, and network design.
