Job Title: System Engineer
Location: Canberra
Employment Type: 12-month contract
Security Clearance: NV2 (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and maintenance of system components for the BICES solution.
- Collaborate with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to implement technical changes through Defence processes.
- Ensure system security and resilience through regular patching and updates.
- Assist Business Analysts and Technical Writers in developing and reviewing technical support documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the program.
Experience with technologies such as:
- Microsoft products (ECM, Windows, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory).
- Monitoring and system management tools.
- Endpoint protection and patching.
- VMware.
- Linux.
Defence Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Pegasus support processes in FVEY environments.
- Knowledge of transition processes for stakeholder engagement and system handovers.
