Your New Organisation:
Join an esteemed Government Agency as their Procurement and Contract Manager, contributing to Support the the Agency's workforce.

Your New Role and Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a variety of tasks related to the procurement and contract management of services, goods, equipment, and projects, including managing associated timeframes and risks.
Collaborate closely with Agency's Procurement and Finance teams to develop procurement documentation and manage procurement processes, primarily through RFQ and RFT procedures, as well as contract management activities.
Draft and manage contracts and agreements, including overseeing the execution process, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and addressing risk management.
Prepare internal briefs to obtain necessary feedback and approvals.
Manage operational procurement plans and documentation to ensure timely and compliant delivery of purchasing activities.
Conduct assurance reviews and prepare reports related to procurement and contract management performance and compliance.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Procurement, Infrastructure, and corporate teams.
Contribute to the development of project documentation and internal processes to align with government agreements, reporting requirements, and operational procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Agency's team to research and identify suitable goods, services, and equipment, ensuring fit-for-purpose procurement processes. Support Renewal in developing procurement strategies and executing procurements for Facility upgrades.
Maintain accurate and compliant records and record-keeping practices aligned to the Agency policy and regulatory requirements.
Further Requirements:
- Demonstrated high-level understanding of procurement and contract management guidelines, procedures, and frameworks, with an understanding of Agency procurement legislation and requirements.
- Demonstrated high-level experience in conducting government procurement and contract management activities, including creation of procurement plans and request for tender/quotation documentation.
- Experience in delivering high-quality work within strict time constraints, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, and strong capabilities for effectively delivering concurrently coordinated procurement outcomes.
