Program Manager (Infrastructure Projects)

Location: Canberra, ACT
Security Clearance: Baseline or NV1 (preferred)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and Certified Program Manager to oversee and deliver multiple infrastructure projects, including traditional on-premise and public cloud implementations. This role requires strong expertise in managing infrastructure-related projects and a comprehensive understanding of government procurement guidelines.

As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering complex infrastructure projects while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the lifecycle of multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate the implementation of traditional on-premise and public cloud infrastructure technologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools.
  • Prepare comprehensive procurement documentation and ensure adherence to government procurement guidelines.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project plans.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • Certification: Recognized program/project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including public cloud and on-premise implementations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with government procurement guidelines and experience in preparing detailed procurement documentation.
  • Security Clearance: Current Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory) or NV1 (preferred).
  • Location: Must be based in Canberra, ACT, or willing to relocate.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in stakeholder management across government and enterprise environments.
