Our Federal Government Client is looking for an experience SaaS Business Analyst to join their team. This is a 12 months contracting role with a 1x12 months extension option. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement. This role is open to ACT only. This role is open to Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.

To be successful in this role you must have:
- The Senior Business Analyst will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role working closely with stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, technical services, strategic roadmap, and in the context in which the Agency operates.
- A focus of this role will be building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst will act as the conduit between key business units within the agency and facilitate information-gathering workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop detailed process and data models and create comprehensive diagrammatic representations of business operations.
- An Executive Level 1 employee would generally be required to undertake work that is very complex or sensitive and operate under broad direction. They exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role. Employees at this level exercise sound decision making and judgement to produce high level policy advice. EL1 employees engage in complex problem solving and issues management and may coordinate and undertake detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for the agency. Employees also responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships within and outside the agency and may manage one or more work teams.
To be considered for his role you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Scrum or Agile training and qualifications, or experience working in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of ICT intake and demand management processes, including request triage, prioritisation and governance.
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Business Analyst in a federal government context.
- Experience working on complex digital projects in an information technology services environment, including experience delivering SaaS products.
- Experience facilitating workshops and developing business scenarios, process maps, data models and use cases from a technically diverse set of stakeholders.
- Experience leading/facilitating meetings such as refinement, planning and backlog prioritisation, and sprint reviews etc.
- Experience advising project managers and key stakeholders on issues, providing solution options, and implementing management decisions to resolve issues.
