Job description
Are you an experienced Master Scheduler looking to take ownership of scheduling for a high-impact program? This newly created role offers the opportunity to establish and lead the scheduling function for a complex initiative with multiple dependencies and governance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the master schedule to ensure alignment across all projects.
- Identify, track, and manage dependencies to mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to maintain realistic timelines.
- Implement and uphold governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting risks and key milestones.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation to support program transparency.
- Develop and maintain a Portfolio Master Schedule that captures critical interdependencies.
- Establish a scheduling framework that supports portfolio-wide alignment.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in scheduling and project management for large-scale programs.
- Proven experience in Master Scheduling within large, complex programs.
- Experience with program governance and structured scheduling approaches.
- Experience with scheduling tools like MS Project, Sentient, and Planview is ideal.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to navigate complex project landscapes.
- Experience with data transition and integration processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
