Job description

Are you an experienced Master Scheduler looking to take ownership of scheduling for a high-impact program? This newly created role offers the opportunity to establish and lead the scheduling function for a complex initiative with multiple dependencies and governance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the master schedule to ensure alignment across all projects.
  • Identify, track, and manage dependencies to mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to maintain realistic timelines.
  • Implement and uphold governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership, highlighting risks and key milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation to support program transparency.
  • Develop and maintain a Portfolio Master Schedule that captures critical interdependencies.
  • Establish a scheduling framework that supports portfolio-wide alignment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in scheduling and project management for large-scale programs.
  • Proven experience in Master Scheduling within large, complex programs.
  • Experience with program governance and structured scheduling approaches.
  • Experience with scheduling tools like MS Project, Sentient, and Planview is ideal.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to navigate complex project landscapes.
  • Experience with data transition and integration processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
