Job description

Position Overview:
Our client, a global technology consultancy, is looking for an experienced S/4 Migration Consultant specializing in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) and Payroll. This role involves leading the migration of payroll functions from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, particularly focusing on full lifecycle payroll implementations for large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing payroll migrations, creating effective strategies for migration, and configuring payroll components within SAP HCM. Experience with the Australian payroll system, especially STP (Single Touch Payroll), is a must.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • A minimum of 3 successful migrations from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale payroll projects, particularly within Australia or New Zealand.
  • Deep knowledge of full lifecycle payroll implementations in SAP HCM.
  • Expertise in crafting migration strategies and ensuring smooth transitions from ECC to S/4HANA.
  • Experience managing and resolving defects throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience with payroll configuration including wage types, deductions, benefits, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficient in configuring time management and integrating payroll with other SAP modules or external systems.
  • Familiar with STP 1.0 and 2.0 payroll reporting standards in Australia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with executives and other high-level stakeholders.
