Deliverables

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer is essential for defining best practices in software delivery and infrastructure management, leading the design and development of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) assets to automate provisioning of on-premises and cloud infrastructure, supporting both internal capabilities and product deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-quality operational processes by implementing best practices for CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management with IaC, and enhancing software delivery through collaboration with development and operations teams.
  • Design and maintain build servers to support software build, testing, and packaging, while improving operational activities with effective monitoring, alerting, and analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize system performance and reliability, and mentor the team on industry best practices for continuous improvement.

Essential

  • 6+ year's relevant experience in an Software Development / Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineering or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to attain NV1 security clearance.

Knowledge & Skill

  • The ideal DevSecOps Engineer candidate will have experience in production environments and expertise in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • A solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment of containerized workloads in Container orchestration technologies such as Docker EE, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS or OpenShift.
  • Strong communication, effective time management, self-motivation, and a hands-on approach in a dynamic environment are key for success in this role.
