A reputable multi-conglomerate is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the team and play a key role in managing their wireless network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wireless technologies, experience with 9800 wireless systems and Cisco DNA Centre, and a proven ability to deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage a robust and scalable wireless network infrastructure utilising Cisco 9800 wireless platforms and Cisco DNA Centre.
- Conduct comprehensive wireless site surveys to assess network performance and provide actionable recommendations to optimise coverage and capacity.
- Analyse network performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to ensure optimal user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative wireless solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive network engineering, routing and switching experience
- Extensive experience with 9800 wireless platforms and Cisco DNA Centre.
- Understanding of RF principles and wireless network design.
- Ability to conduct wireless site surveys and analyse results.
- Experience configuring Wireless Access Points (WAP) and deploying with exceptional coverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
