Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead data transformation initiatives. This role will handle dependencies and deliver data transformation, data federation, and ownership projects. You will collaborate with various teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage structured delivery plans aligned with quarterly objectives.
- Track progress, identify potential obstacles, and proactively address challenges.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for all stakeholders.
- Manage both greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal data management.
- Oversee critical data processes and develop a marketplace for data consumers.
- Ensure frameworks and governance structures are in place to support data marketplace operations.
To be successful, you must possess:
- Proven experience in project management and delivery, particularly in data platform projects.
- Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS and data mesh architectures is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Prior experience in banking sector with relevant projects is a must
