Senior Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join them on a 12 month initial contract with possible extensions on offer. This role is based in Brisbane CBD + some flexible WFH on offer.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the digital stream of the three-stream program. This stream focuses on delivering member-facing online solutions and integrating them into the broader technology roadmap. The role is critical in identifying and validating key dependencies, managing risks, and ensuring alignment across streams for seamless delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning and execution phases for the digital stream of the program.
• Facilitating workshops to refine scope, validate dependencies, and align stakeholders.
• Overseeing member journey design, financials, resources, and RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) registers.
• Collaborating across streams to ensure integration and alignment with program goals.
• Engaging executive and senior leadership for decision-making and stakeholder satisfaction.

Experience required:

• Strong experience with delivering digital / member online solutions
• Preferred overarching experience with implementation of technology/digital roadmap along with claims processing within the financial, insurance or related industry.
• Strong executive and senior leader stakeholder engagement and management experience.
• Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience in managing projects using Agile methodologies is required.
• Hands on approach in managing the day-to-day delivery, including oversight and management of project schedule, resource management, project financials and RAID management and ensure projects remain on track and remains aligned to project governance and delivery framework
